Hi my name is Debbie and I’m a recovering corporate sales professional.
I had a big wake up call in 2014. I turned 50 and a few months later, my Mom died. Talk about 2 major life events that give you an opportunity to reflect. As I was doing an assessment of my life, I felt that an imposter had moved into my body. I no longer knew the woman looking back at me in the mirror. Needless to say, it was time to make some changes — time to get back to ME.
So I did what any sane person standing at the crossroads would do — I quit my job and am setting out on a 1 year journey to not only find myself again — but to create my ideal life.
I’m not exactly sure where this journey will take me — but I do know I’m going to take time to nurture the relationships in my life that are important, explore and travel the country in our RV, find work and contribution that I’m passionate about and fills my soul with joy.
Come join me on this adventure!
Hey Debbie,
You go girl….be happy find yourself….You are so smart to go out there and take life as it comes….I know I wish I had done what you are doing at 50, now 68, in failing heath
and can really only live from day to day!!! I do try to stay positive, and will keep trying to do it.
You just keep us informed, lots of us will live though you I am sure…..I am giving you a great big hug.!!!

Bless your heart! I wish you only the best in your upcoming endeavors! What a brave free spirit you are! Can you imagine how much better off our world would be, how much healthier those would be without the everyday stress & pressure of working in The Corporate world- to travel, explore & follow their dreams?!!!
